In my 20+ years of experience in private lessons, tutoring, and small groups, I have come to one key conclusion: there is no single way to learn, because there is no “average” student. Every person sitting across – whether in a physical classroom or via a screen – has their own pace, their own concerns, and their own personal motivation.

My approach is based on building a relationship of trust. I create a safe environment where mistakes are seen as necessary steps towards language mastery. I focus on empathy and active listening, adapting my materials and teaching to the profile of each student, so that learning is not a compulsion, but a creative process.

Adaptability and Digital Evolution

Education is changing and I choose to go along. The creation of my educational website is the result of my need for continuous evolution. Adaptability is a core value for me. From traditional desks, I successfully transitioned to live online classes and the creation of recorded content, offering my students the flexibility that modern lifestyles require.

Teaching a foreign language is not just about transferring knowledge of grammar and syntax; it is about opening a new window to the world. My name is Evangelia Kapsalaki and for two decades, I have been serving the field of education with dedication, living in the beautiful city of Chania, but with my eyes focused on the modern needs of global communication.

I never stop learning about new learning methods and digital tools, keeping my educational lessons competitive and modern. Self-improvement is a perpetual process; as a teacher, I consider it my duty to remain a “learner”, evolving my skills to provide the best possible result.

Academic Background as a Foundation

My path began with studies at the American College of Greece (Deree), from where I graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a specialization in English Language. This combination of studies allowed me to perceive language not only as a cultural asset, but also as a powerful asset in the highly competitive job market. Excellent knowledge of French and German completed my profile, allowing me to understand the specificities of different language families and to transmit this knowledge with a comparative and multidimensional method.
